Hevander Maradiadi Lozano, 18, and Christian Garcia Carranza, 19, both of District Heights, were arrested by officers following a short-lived robbery spree earlier this week.

The string of robberies began at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, in the 4800 block of Silver Hill Road according to a spokesperson from the Prince George's County Police Department.

Police say that the pair robbed a fast food restaurant, and within an hour and a half of that initial call, two other similar robberies were reported at eateries in the 8700 block of Central Avenue and 6100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway.

Within minutes of the third robbery, officers from the department spotted the duo near the area of Marlboro Pike and Forestville Road, prompting a brief police pursuit.

The two eventually came to a stop on Pennsylvania Avenue and they were taken into custody without a fight. Further investigation linked them to a fourth robbery on Branch Avenue on Sunday, Aug. 13, officials noted.

It remains under investigation.
